Golden Vessel
Artist ∙ Electronic
As Golden Vessel, Australian producer Max Byrne writes introspective, melancholy, downtempo, electro pop inspired by artists like James Blake, Bonobo, and Glass Animals. Most of his songs feature guest vocalists, including fellow Australians Caleb Hodges (the Art of Sleeping) and Lastlings. Golden Vessel's first single, "Stairwell," received airplay on Australian radio station Triple J immediately after Byrne submitted the track. In 2015, Golden Vessel released the singles "Control," "Borrowed Time," and "Can't Stay." His biggest year yet came in 2016, as he released the Before Sleep EP and toured across Australia. "Tell the-Girl" (featuring Emerson Leif) followed in 2017. ~ Paul Simpson
