Russian DJ and producer Rompasso’s signature “cloud house” style is built from dark synth melodies and house beats.
• Born Roman Krylov in the small village of Balakovo, Krylov started playing around with electronic music production when he was 17. It was just a hobby until his 2018 single “Angetenar” went viral, surpassing 130 million plays before the year was over.
• He followed that success with a vocal version of “Angetenar” called “Ignis,” showcasing a slightly poppier, more commercial sound.
• Rompasso has continued to explore poppier sounds, remixing tunes for Jonas Blue, SAINt JHN, and Fousheé, among others.
• In 2020, he released a version of “Angetenar” featuring NYC rapper Rich the Kid.
