Koryn Hawthorne is a Grammy-nominated gospel singer who was a finalist on NBC’s The Voice singing competition.

• Hawthorne sang from an early age and got her first vocal coach when she was about six. She later joined the nonprofit organization Louisiana Kids and performed at festivals and competitions across the state.
• She auditioned for Season 8 of The Voice by performing Emeli Sande’s “My Kind of Love” and eventually made it onto the show. She finished in fourth place.
• After signing with RCA Inspiration, she released a self-titled 2017 EP that earned her two nominations for Stellar Awards, which recognize achievements in gospel music.
• Her 2018 debut album, Unstoppable, reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart and spawned the single “Won’t He Do It,” which topped the Hot Gospel Songs tally. “Won’t He Do It” also earned Hawthorne her first Grammy nomination, for Best Gospel Performance.
• She returned in 2020 with I AM, which peaked at No. 2 on Top Gospel Albums. The single “Speak to Me” became her second Hot Gospel Songs chart topper and earned her another Grammy nomination.
