In the artist’s words:

Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I used to love the music from the Goopy Bagha trilogy by Satyajit Ray. My earliest memories were of singing almost all the songs from my bathroom everyday. My neighbours would get to know that I'm not in town if it was too silent for a few days.

What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
A. R. Rahman, Dil Se (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
A. R. Rahman, Swades (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
Lucky Ali, Sifar
Though Satyajit Ray, Tagore & Kabir Suman were responsible for my sub-conscious entries into the musicverse; it was A R Rahman's brilliance that really made me understand the concept of a composer. Then there was the magic of Lucky Ali's voice.

Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Taar Kata Ektara (feat. Sreemoyee)”
I've always been more excited when songs 'came' to me. For example, the main tune and lyrics for "Taar Kata" came to me as an early morning dream... I didn't compose this consciously. The rap parts were added later.
