Stwo

Artist ∙ Electronic

French producer Stwo’s downtempo hybrid of R&B and hip-hop earned him a publishing deal with Drake’s main producer, Noah “40” Shebib, as well as a spot on Drizzy’s 2016 blockbuster Views.

• Stwo is the alias of Paris natie Steven Vidal, who played bass and guitar before transitioning to electronic music in his teens.
• In 2014, Stwo released 92, a six-song debut musically inspired by Drake’s Nothing Was the Same. Months later, Drake’s producer Noah “40 Shebib” offered the newcomer a publishing deal.
• Stwo relocated to Toronto in 2015 and coproduced “Weston Road Flows” for Drake’s 2016 chart-topping Views album.
• Also in 2016, Stwo released the EP D.T.S.N.T., featuring collaborations with the Canadian group BADBADNOTGOOD, Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar, and Peruvian singer-rapper A.CHAL.
• He teamed up with R&B singer Jeremih for the 2017 streaming hit “Neither Do I.”
