Mari Eriksmoen

Soprano Mari Eriksmoen has a large repertory extending from Monteverdi to Wagner, featuring both opera and concert music. She regularly appears at major opera houses in Europe, North America, and South America. Eriksmoen made her debut in 2010 in Johann Strauss II's Die Fledermaus in Oslo. A breakthrough came that fall when Eriksmoen appeared in Richard Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos in Vienna. In 2014, Eriksmoen appeared three times in the cycle of Mozart operas with libretti by Lorenzo da Ponte, conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt. Eriksmoen made her solo recording debut in 2016, accompanied by pianist Alphonse Cemin, with a recital of songs by Grieg, Wolf, Strauss, and Agathe Backer-Grøndahl. In 2021, Eriksmoen released a pair of albums, G.F. Händel, W.A. Mozart: Arias & Overtures, and Britten: Les Illuminations; Quatre Chansons françaises; Canteloube: Chants d'Auvergne (Selections).
