UK singer-songwriter and musician Zak Abel provided guest vocals to Gorgon City’s hit single “Unmissable” before writing and recording his own solo pop hits.
∙ Abel collaborated with the Platinum-selling production duo Gorgon City on 2014’s “Unmissable,” a Top 20 hit in the UK and Scotland.
∙ On the 2015 EP One Hand On the Future, he worked with Grammy-nominated producer Kaytranada (Mobb Deep, Kali Uchis, Chance the Rapper).
∙ He cowrote the song “I’ll Be Gentle”—a duet between Paloma Faith and John Legend—from Faith’s 2017 UK chart-topping album, The Architect.
∙ In 2019, he provided vocals for an orchestral cover of Daniel Bedingfield’s 2001 hit “Gotta Get Through This,” included on DJ Spoony’s UK garage tribute compilation, Garage Classical.
