Artist ∙ Hip-Hop/Rap

Known previously as Genesis, Brendon Waters, aka Marley Waters, reached millions of U.S. homes via America's Best Dance Crew as part of Status Quo. A Boston native, Waters is a songwriter, producer, singer, rapper, and DJ whose first major work was on "Can't Touch This," a single by Interscope artist Colette Carr. The following year, Waters teamed up with DJ Mustard to co-write and co-produce Tinashe's "2 On," a Top Five R&B/hip-hop smash that went platinum in 2014. After Waters established a DJ'ing career, he also began to self-release predominantly club-oriented solo singles that alternated between contemporary R&B, rap, and reggae.
