Kat Dahlia

Artist ∙ Pop

Singer and songwriter Kat Dahlia mixes elements of hip-hop, R&B, and Latin music into her autobiographical brand of pop.

• Dahlia grew up in a Cuban American family in Miami. She started writing songs as a teenager using instrumentals she found online and moved to New York City when she was 18.
• After self-releasing an EP (under the name Kat Hue), she signed with the Vested in Culture imprint of Epic Records. She made her debut as Kat Dahlia with the 2013 single “Gangsta.”
• Later that year, she featured on “Helen Keller,” off the deluxe edition of DJ Khaled’s Suffering From Success album.
My Garden, Dahlia’s first album, arrived in 2015 and landed in the upper half of the Billboard 200 album chart.
• In 2020, she released the 10-track project SeVeN, featuring Spanglish vocals and forays into R&B, reggaeton, Afrobeats, and more.
