Código FN

Artist ∙ Música Mexicana

Regional Mexicano group Código FN started out as a local party band in Tamarindo, Sinaloa, in 2008.

∙ First known as Fundillo Norteño—a name based on a crude slang term—they changed to the more respectable Código FN when they began getting radio play.
∙ Superstar Roberto Tapia helped boost the band’s profile when he appeared on “Iván El Mayor,” from their 2013 debut album, Te Amaré Más.
∙ Their signature song, “Me Gustas Mucho,” was a breakthrough hit in the US, landing at No. 2 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart.
∙ By 2014, they had become Mexican radio staples on both sides of the border, and they earned a Billboard Latin Music Awards nomination for New Artist of the Year.
∙ Legendary norteño outfit Los Tucanes de Tijuana featured them on their corrido “Suena La Banda,” which was Top 40 hit on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart.
∙ “Miami Vibe,” their 2019 collaboration with singer-songwriter Adriel Favela, has racked up more than 30 million views.
