South Korean rapper Loco proved that hip-hop careers can be fueled by television success. He’s since thrived in multiple genres and styles.

• In 2012, Loco won the first season of the South Korean rap competition TV series Show Me the Money. The long-running show is credited with helping to expand the popularity of hip-hop in the country.
• Loco has been a staple artist on the roster of AOMG, the hip-hop and R&B label founded by Jay Park. Loco has collaborated with his labelmates for multiple releases and tours.
• In addition to his hip-hop success, Loco has scored hits with K-pop collaborations (2018’s “Don’t” with Hwa Sa of MAMAMOO) and even K-drama television soundtracks. The 2015 single “Spring Is Gone by Chance” was recorded with GFRIEND's Yuju for the soundtrack to Girl Who Sees Smell.
