K-391
Artist ∙ Electronic
Norwegian electronic producer K-391 is best known for his work with English Norwegian producer, DJ, and songwriter Alan Walker. Their 2018 collaboration “Ignite” reached No. 1 on the Norwegian charts.
• K-391 is the alias of enigmatic producer Kenneth Osberg Nilsen. He discovered dance music as a kid and began producing trance and techno as a teenager.
• His 2018 single “Ignite,” a collaboration with Alan Walker, K-pop star SEUNGRI, and singer Julie Bergan, reached No. 1 in Norway and made the Top 40 of Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart in the US.
• He and Alan Walker maintained their winning chemistry on “Lily” (featuring Emelie Hollow), off Walker’s gold-certified 2018 album Different World. The single just missed the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
• In 2019, K-391 and Walker teamed with Norweigan star Tungevaag for “Play,” an update of Swedish DJ and producer Mangoo’s Y2K electronic dance hit “Eurodancer.” The new version revived interest in Mangoo and achieved hundreds of millions of streams.
