The self-proclaimed “GOAT of Ohio,” Cleveland rapper Q Money was headed toward stardom until he was arrested on murder charges in 2019.
• Years of grinding paid off when his single “Work” caught fire in 2017. He signed with Think It’s A Game Records before inking a deal with Warner Brothers in 2018.
• In 2018, his bouncy track “Neat” received a star-studded remix featuring the likes of G-Herbo, Young Dolph, Flipp Dinero, Peewee Longway, and YFN Lucci.
• In April 2019, Q-Money was charged with felony murder for the shooting of 24-year-old emerging rapper Calvin Alexander Chappell.
• He released the 2019 project How You Gone Hate from behind bars on his 24th birthday.
