Justin Prime
Artist ∙ Dance
Dutch DJ and sound engineer Justin Prime (aka Justin Putuhena) first came to prominence with the track "Cannonball" alongside the EDM DJ Showtek in 2012. DJing and producing from the age of 14, Putuhena prolifically worked his way up within the Dutch dance scene throughout the 2000s. He released his debut 12", "Control the Core," under his actual name via Dutch hardstyle label DJS in 2005. He began recording and performing under the alias of Justin Prime in and around 2008 and began to get a reputation as one of Europe's leading hardstyle DJs. He released a clutch of singles on the Musical Madness label, which led EDM label Spinnin' Records to release a remix collection of "Cannonball" as well as the follow-up "Thunderbolt" featuring Sidney Samson in 2013 and 2014, respectively. ~ Aneet Nijjar
