Chicago-born Aaron Smith is an American house DJ and producer who first rose to the top of the dance/electronic music scene in the early 1990s.
∙ Smith kick-started his career as a member of the UBQ Project, releasing remixes for such legendary artists as Michael Jackson, Mary J. Blige, and Full Intention.
∙ Following JJ Flores & Steve Smooth’s 2006 popular remix, his 2004 solo single “Dancin’” reached No. 9 on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart.
∙ In 2019, “Dancin’” resurfaced at No. 22 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart, due to its placement in a viral meme.
