Jacob Plant
Artist ∙ Dance
Electronic producer/DJ Jacob Plant was born in London in 1991. He came into his own as a musician while in his late teens, first breaking out with his energetic 2010 single "Basslines In," featuring rhymes from JLD. That same year he also released the house-influenced "Jump Up." More singles would follow, as well as the 2013 Warehouse EP and 2014's Dim Mak-released Louder EP. His sounds eventually caught the ear of more popular mainstream artists, and Plant was asked to do remixes for Benny Benassi, Calvin Harris, and Rihanna. Primarily a singles artist, he released the singles "Bike Engine" featuring Stylo G in 2016 and "About You" featuring Maxine the next year, along with a slew of various mixes and less developed tracks. ~ Fred Thomas
