He Is We
Artist ∙ Pop
Under the name He Is We singer/songwriter Rachel Taylor makes sunny, detailed indie pop, often with a sense of emotional uplift and faith-inspired themes. Initially formed as a duo with guitarist Trevor Kelly, He Is We made a strong showing with their 2010 debut My Forever. After a 2012 follow-up, Kelly departed and Taylor explored a new phase working both as a solo artist and under the name She Is We. She and Kelly reunited for a series of EPs in the late 2010s, but by the time of 2022's Treehouse album, He Is We was again Taylor's solo project. She returned two years later with the single "I Wouldn't Mind."
