Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember finding an old cassette copy of 2 Pac - All Eyez On Me in an old construction weathered radio. It had drywall plaster all over it, with dents and broken parts. I played that tape front to back many times. That was my first hip hop tape.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
JAY-Z, Reasonable Doubt
Nas, Illmatic
Pete Rock, PeteStrumentals
Illmatic almost doesn't need the explanation. Classic front to back...amazing production, lot of reality, and knowledge there. Jay-Z and this album another classic, unique flow, production on point, Petestrumentals changed my ear for music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Producing a song called "You've Been Warned" that featured Denaun aka Mr. Porter of D12. This song was released by RJ Payne who I was already hyped to work with. Coming from the Detroit area this was huge for me working with a hometown idol.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I simply have to work with Eminem. I grew up on his music. I've already worked with Denaun and D12 affiliates. It's only right. I have a lot of love for Detroit hip hop. Dr. Dre would be dope too.
