The daughter of the famous flamenco singer known as La Pastora, Niña Pastori (born María Rosa García) performed live for the first time in 1986 while participating in a new talent contest. At the age of 17, the promising contemporary flamenco artist recorded her debut album. Entre Dos Puertos (1996) and Eres Luz (1998) were followed by the successful Canailla (2001), produced by singer/songwriter Alejandro Sanz, Katama's José Miguel Carmona, and Eman Ruffinengo. ~ Drago Bonacich
