Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember the first time in class I saw my teacher playing tabla. I simply had to figure out what he was doing. The whole class I would watch his hands on the instrument, and try to mimic him. As long as I remember, rhythm has been my fascination.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band, Season of Changes
Pat Metheny Group, The Way Up
Shai Maestro, The Dream Thief
Each of these three albums has been a soundtrack to the various goings on of my life. Some things come and some go, but these albums - and especially Season of Changes and The Way Up will likely stay amongst my most valued albums for all time.
