José Gallardo

José Gallardo is an Argentine pianist. He began taking piano lessons at five. After graduating from the Conservatory in Buenos Aires, he went on to study at the College of Music at the University of Mainz, where he received his diploma in 1997. He has participated in music festivals across Europe, including several in Italy, Austria, and Germany. An avid chamber musician, Gallardo has performed with Gidon Kremer, Maxim Vengerov, Steven Isserlis, Alberto Lysy, Barnabás Keleman, and many others. Gallardo was a member of the music faculty at the University of Mainz from 1998 to 2008, and since then he has lectured at the Leopold Mozart Centre at the University of Augsburg.
