Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Singing in church at 3 years old. I come from a musical family where everyone can sing and/or play an instrument. . I was terrified doing my first solo but singing in the living room harmonizing w/ my cousins, Aunts & Uncles prepared me for it

I chose Lauryn because I listened to this project until it literally wouldn't play anymore. Brandy's album was so fresh innovative and magical that I know it in and out and Mary J Bridge courtesy of my Mom, is a huge influence of mine!

It's honest! I only had enough money for gas or food when I went to studio & made this record w/ Symphony & Dre. I love a 6/8 time signature. I'm such a Disney Kid. I told my story in a raw & creative way visually & sonically. I'm happy it resonated
