Cash Kidd

Artist ∙ Hip-Hop/Rap

Cash Kidd is a respected Detroit punchline rapper with an offbeat style. Alongside a select group of peers, he’s giving his city’s hip-hop scene a new identity.

• He grew up in Detroit’s 6 Mile area and began rapping in his teens.
• Cash Kidd was reluctant to pursue rap for many years, even after 2014’s pepped-up “On My Mama” achieved over 20 million streams.
• His 2020 standout “See You” has over 6 million streams. Featuring Icewear Vezzo, Rio Da Yung Og, Lavi’er, and Sterl Gotti, the song offers a menacing reworking of Fantasia’s “When I See U.”
• Cash Kidd joins Eminem, Royce Da 5’9”, Tee Grizzley, and others on Big Sean’s 2020 posse cut “Friday Night Cypher,” off Sean’s chart-topping Detroit 2 album.
• His witty punchlines were inspired by Lil Wayne and Cassidy, two of his favorite artists growing up.
