Rv
Artist ∙ Hip-Hop/Rap
London’s Rv specializes in street-centric storytelling and witty wordplay. Born in 1994, the Tottenham rapper began his career in the early 2010s under the name Young RV before his career stalled out due to a 2012 arrest. After his 2015 release, Rv aligned himself with the ascendant UK Drill movement and linked up with fellow Tottenham MC Headie One for the acclaimed Drillers x Trappers mixtapes, each of which featured vivid street chat over bass-heavy beats. Rv’s solo projects, such as IM a Savage (2018) and Rico Vondelle (2021), are similarly hard-edged and uncompromising.
