Pop duo Loote is a collaboration between singer Emma Lov Block and singer/producer Jackson Foot, who met in a songwriting class in college.
• After doing remixes for Mike Posner (“Silence”) and Shawn Mendes (“Mercy”), Loote cowrote and produced the 2017 single “No Promises” for the electronic music trio Cheat Codes and Demi Lovato.
• “No Promises” reached the Top 10 in countries around the world. In the US, it peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
• Loote released a pair of singles in 2017 and their debut EP, single., in 2018. Two subsequent EPs followed in 2019 and 2020.
• Their song “Your Side of the Bed,” from single./i>, appeared in the 2018 behind-the-scenes documentary G.F.C. in Osaka by the Korean boy-band juggernaut BTS.
