Emo-trap rapper $NOT cultivated an online army of Gen Z fans before emerging from the internet to share his music with the rest of the world.

• The rapper born Edy Edouard kicked off his career on SoundCloud in 2017. Following a series of singles and his debut EP, THE TI$$UE FILES, he broke through with the explosive 2018 single “GOSHA,” which has earned more than 140 million streams.
• $NOT’s buzz carried him onto the soundtrack of HBO’s Euphoria. His 2019 country-trap single “Billy Boy” was featured in the show’s pilot.
• His debut album, - TRAGEDY +, arrived in 2020.
• At the height of the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests, $NOT released “Can You Help Me.” The cover art is a famous image of a Black woman punching a police officer during the 1967 Milwaukee riots.
• A few months later, $NOT issued his sophomore album, Beautiful Havoc, which features iann dior, Denzel Curry, and Flo Milli.
