As both a member of alternative hip-hop group Calle 13 and as a solo artist, Puerto Rican rap icon Residente has won 27 Latin Grammys, 4 Grammys, and a Nobel Peace Summit Award.
∙ In 2009, Residente cohosted the Premios MTV Latinoamérica, the Latin American version of the Video Music Awards, with pop star Nelly Furtado.
∙ He duetted with Shakira on their joint hit, “Gordita,” from her multi-Platinum 2010 album, Sale el Sol.
∙ At the 2011 Latin Grammys, he won nine awards, including Album of the Year (Entren los Que Quieran) and both Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Latinoamérica.”
∙ He was featured on the collaborative single “Immigrants (We Get the Job Done),” from 2016’s chart-topping, Gold-selling LP The Hamilton Mixtape.

∙ Alongside Latin trap star Bad Bunny, he appeared on Ricky Martin’s hit single “Cántalo,” from Martin’s 2020 release, PAUSA - EP.
