Taylor Acorn
Artist ∙ Alternative
Taylor Acorn plays sleek, stylish modern pop rooted in her love of classic pop-punk and emo. Early releases like 2017's "Put It in a Song" and "Something Tonight" were pop-centered and even bore traces of country, but by the early-2020s, her underlying emo streak was pushed to the forefront. Acorn's stripped-down covers of Matchbox 20's "Unwell" and blink-182's "First Date" found an audience and she soon emphasized these traits in her own music. 2023's Certified Depressant EP led to her first headlining tour and prominent festival slots throughout Europe and the U.S. She followed these successes in 2024 with her full-length debut, Survival in Motion.
