Lyanno

Artist ∙ Urbano latino

Part of the “new generation” of Puerto Rican urban singers, Lyanno made a name for himself by blending rap and reggaetón with the vibes of contemporary R&B.

∙ In his teens, he recorded some reggaetón tracks as Gardo, then changed his name to Lyanno and began emulating his favorite modern R&B singers, such as The Weeknd.
∙ Lyanno’s first two EPs—2016’s S.O.D.A. and 2017’s Am—established his style of mixing smooth R&B/soul ballads with Latin-trap production.
∙ His first commercial success came in 2018 when he appeared on the remix of Alex Rose’s hit “Toda,” whose official video has nearly 1 billion views.
∙ He was featured alongside fellow Puerto Rican urban singer Rauw Alejandro on Ozuna’s “Luz Apaga,” which rose to No. 26 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs in 2018.
∙ The EP Episodios showcased Lyanno’s vocals on both R&B and reggaetón songs and was named one of Vibe’s Best Latinx Albums of 2019.
∙ In 2019, his upbeat reggaetón single “Pa’ Que Vuelvas” was a Top 40 hit on Billboard’s Latin Pop chart.
