Kansas-based rapper T-Rell has released a handful of acclaimed albums since 2013 and has collaborated with hip-hop artists Boosie Badazz, Kevin Gates, and Mike Jones.
∙ T-Rell wrote the memorial track “My Dawg” after a close friend died in 2014, and the song became a viral hit with a remix featuring chart-topping rapper Boosie Badazz.
∙ He appeared on “Love You Goodbye” from Jail Tattoos, a 2018 collaborative album from chart-topping producer Jonathan Hay.
∙ In 2021, he released his fourth LP, Rell Play, which immediately hit No. 1 on the iTunes R&B/Soul chart.
