Undaground Legend

Album ∙ Hip-Hop/Rap ∙ 2002

Lil’ Flip built his legend with the classic breakout album The Leprechaun, but it was his first major-label release, Undaground Legend, that proved he could become a mainstream star without losing his fire. Flip’s raw manifesto is burned right into the LP’s title, and his bars run slicker than ever on the unrefined keys of “The Way We Ball” and Southern-fried banger “Get Crunk.” He has a deep-thinking edge, though, as displayed on the street-life confessional “What I Been Through.”
