CORAZÓN ERRANTE

Album ∙ Música Mexicana ∙ 2024

In the relatively short time since splitting with Sinaloa’s Grupo Arriesgado, Panter Bélico has made significant strides as a solo artist. With singles like “La 701” and collaborations with the likes of Luis R Conriquez and Óscar Maydon, the singer and accordionist continues to reap the benefits of striking out on his own. Not nearly as expansive as the immediately preceding live set La Amanecida En Vivo Desde “El Carrizal”, his CORAZÓN ERRANTE offers fans 10 tracks that touch on a few different styles, not least norteño. From robust corridos like “El Hijo De Pancho” and “Orgullo Sinaloense” to the more romantically inclined “Un Papel De Amor,” he sings with intent and passion over abundant musical arrangements. His signature accordion features prominently throughout the project, providing dramatic accents to opener “Fue Un Error,” meaningful flourishes on “Sin Equipaje,” and melodic support on closer “Te Ves Fatal.”
