Each month, the Apple Music Fitness Mix is helmed by one of dance and electronic music’s best DJs to deliver the perfect set for your next workout. Tchami, the French producer who crafted this month’s edition, set out to create a soundtrack for a morning jog. “The tracks I chose have energy but also a deep, minimal feel,” he tells Apple Music. “Perfect for not focusing too much on the music and more on the physical effort.” Among his favorite tracks to listen to when he’s working out: Chris Stussy’s “Desire,” which comes in here during the final stretch (“where you can see the end but still have a bit of effort to get across the finish line,” he says), and CASSIMM’s “In My Mind.” Says Tchami: “I love this song. It’s in my sets. It’s in my car. And it’s with me when I’m working out.”
