Dip - Single

Album ∙ Hip-Hop/Rap ∙ 2018

D.A. Doman produced Tyga’s summer 2018-owning “Taste,” but it wasn’t until Kodak Black’s “Zeze” that most would come to recognize (and be excited about) his “D.A. got that dope!” production tag. It appears at the top of “Dip,” of course, where the Los Angeles-via-Chicago producer swaps out the steel drums of “Zeze” for a pronounced violin riff. Tyga welcomes a particularly sharp Nicki Minaj to reminisce over the many magazine covers she has graced, while he sounds securely in his bag, furthering the resurgence of the ratchet California sound he helped pioneer with songs like “Rack City” and “Faded.”
