With the help of prodigious producers Luny Tunes, Arcángel stretches his adaptable voice into straight-up dance tunes and slow jams, expanding his musical vision to include R&B, swinging salsa horns, pulsing beats, and samples. Peppered with English expletives, “I Got Flow (2070)” imagines the reggaeton rhythm several generations hence, while the futuristic synth riffs of “Chica Virtual” are juxtaposed with a retro-disco beat. “Pienso en Ti” is when he gets most romantic, amid a circular, tinkling hook that sounds like champagne glasses toasting.
