Canadian dubstep producer Excision opens his third studio album with a declaration of an apocalyptic virus that travels through sound waves, turning humans into throbbing slaves to the bass. The ensuing title track dives straight into this fantasy, pulsing with head-splitting drops that make the song feel as if it’s being torn apart at the seams, while “Throwin’ Elbows” dips into some death-metal flavors for a chugging, doomsday-ready EDM assault.
